Fathers in the Skip

The Father’s Day hype is over for another marketing year and fathers will have to go back to making their own tea in the morning.

Here are some scary statistics:-
  • 20 million children in the USA grow up without a father
  • 75% of them in poverty
·        These children are 5 times more likely to commit suicide  and 10 times more likely to take drugs and 20 times more likely to go to prison For those of my readers who are lucky enough to be a father in residence please let me challenge you:-
1. Are you giving your children things instead of you?
I have been told that we learn 75% of all we will ever know by the age of 12, whose teaching your children? Are you? School teacher?  TV?  Or some fourth rate celebrity on drugs?
2. Are you giving your energy, your time, your best, to your job or to them?
Jobs come and go as do companies, but hopefully your children won’t go and you can have them for the rest of your life. Something you won’t get from your job.
